Presets fill in the width and height fields above — click the field to fine-tune. Aspect ratio locks automatically when you type in one field, so nothing looks stretched.
Resizing changes the pixel dimensions of the whole image while keeping everything in frame. Cropping removes part of the image. This tool only resizes — if a preset's aspect ratio doesn't match your photo, the output keeps your original proportions unless you type in an exact width and height yourself.
Smaller dimensions almost always mean a smaller file too. If you still need to hit a specific size limit after resizing, run the result through the Image Compressor.
